Links To Family Member Websites, New Hampshire, And Anything Else Of Interest To Any Clan Member

I thought we could all list the web addresses of other websites we have. I know Wendy has a Therapeutic Massage business site, Emmy has her Yoga School site, Jessica has her Quixtar business site, Ricky must have a site for his marina, and I know Judy does for her store. So send me whatever links and addressees you want me to post.

I also want to post all the MySpace pages for everyone in the family who has one. I know of only a few: Debbie, Tracy, Wendy, Richard, Allison, Jessica, Brendan, Megan, and Katie (anyone see a pattern here? I don't see any second or third tier family members, only fourth. And soon fifth, no doubt). I'm sure there are lots more out there - Sons and Daughters of the Twelve. So anyone who has a MySpace page, or FaceBook, or any social networking or personal page, send me the link, and I'll post it.

I'm also posting links to Derry Hill, South Acworth, and the surrounding area. And New Hampshire in general. Plus anything else anyone thinks is interesting, and wants to share.

Our links define us.

Wendy (Suzie's daughter) has a business in the Healing Arts. "Belly of the Goddess ~ restoring mind, body, & spirit one chakra at a time through therapeutic massage & reiki."

I got that off of her MySpace page. Here's the web address:

www.bellyofthegoddess.com

Brendan has his own web page for his music:

brendanyork.com

There's some short mp3 clips of him playing. There is also a link to a YouTube video that doesn't work. Yet. I put it aside while I was working on this site. I think this week I'll go back and figure out how to compress that video down to a linkable size.

Cindy Jo has a couple of sites:

723.com/CindyjoDietz

This is a link is to a gallery of her architectural renderings (plus other stuff - blog, resume, background, etc.)

723.com/Cj_Dietz

and this is a link is to her other artwork, and magazine reviews, billings, and bookings, etc. Plus biographies, blogs, etc., similar to the first one. Both have some really fantastic stuff. Go check them out.

Jesse has a blog for his bicycle racing experiences:

TheBell-lap.com

It's called "The Bell-Lap Road and Cyclo-Cross Racing Journal", here's part of the intro: "This is a Blog about me, my wife, family, friends and most of all my passion for bike racing and all that goes with being an amateur bike racer."

Jesse, I only have one question - what's a Bell-Lap?

He wrote and told me what it is:

"A Bell-Lap is the last lap of a bike race. The officials frantically ring a bell loudly and that is when the really fast speeds begin. The bell lap is the fastest, and most dangerous lap of any bike race."

Thanks Jesse! Learn something new every day!

Jena has her own web page for her art:

jenathomas.net

There are several pages; two different art galleries (I used some of the images for her Derry Hill art gallery), her Resume (very impressive), and a very detailed and enlightening Artist's Statement. Plus some other things. I encourage everyone to go check it out.

Judy has a web site for her Jewelry Store:

www.tresorsofnaples.com

There's some beautiful pieces of jewelry there. Here's some info from the site: "Welcome to the new and improved TRéSORS of Naples! We are located in the famous Tin City in historic Naples, Florida and feature fine jewelry from around the world ... Now under new ownership, we have taken our intriguing little shop up a level - creating an inviting and alluring atmosphere of warmth, personality and mystique."

Congrats! Jude, it's a very nice site and store. Now everybody go buy some jewelry from it!

Anyone else with a website, please send me the address.

Wier Beach Web Cam - Live view of Lake Winnipesaukee from Weirs Beach, New Hampshire. The WeirsCAM is active from sunrise to sunset daily. The image is updated every 10 minutes

Mt. Sunapee home page - This page is for Mt. Sunapee Resort, and it's a dot com, but I think it's the park's homepage, and they just lease it out to the private sector to manage. Here's a blurb from the History page, "On July 1, 1998, Tim and Diane Mueller, owners of Okemo Mountain Resort in Vermont, acquired the first lease ever given by the State of New Hampshire to operate Mount Sunapee." It then goes on to describe all the "improvements" that have been made. Basically they've razed everything (lodge, chairlifts, etc.) and replaced it all with new, modern, big, expensive things. Too bad. Looks like they still have the Crafts Fair, though.

Hey Ricky and Judy, do you remember the time we hiked to Lake Solitude at the top of Mt. Sunapee? I think Barry Sr. was with us too.

Dinosaur Footprints - The Trustees Of Reservations - The "official" Dinosaur Footprints page. They are now a State Park.

Dinosaur Footprints Reservation - Route 5, Holyoke, MA - This is a wiki page where you can add and edit info, etc. But what I like about it is they have an aerial photo of the area with the road going in. And you can click on the little arrows in the upper left corner to move around. So you can see the road I was talking about with Melanie when we were trying to remember going there. For some reason, I remember the road better than the actual footprints.

These are Quicktime VR models of the playset I'm designing for Tayelor. To view download them to your own computer by right-clicking the link and choosing "Save Target as ..." (or some such thing) and navigate to your desktop and save it. They are big files (25 megs) so you should have hi-speed internet to download them, or it will take a while. They are probably too big to view over the internet, so I would NOT just click on the link. They should open, but it will take really, really long. And even then might be too sluggish to view. You need to have Quicktime on your computeer to view these (if you have iTunes installed, you already do). You can get it free at http://www.apple.com/downloads/
