Here are some photo galleries provided by various people. Click on a button below, and a thumbnail gallery will open. You can browse the thumbnails and click on the picture you want to see - a larger version of the photo will open in a new window (click on that image to view an even larger photo to print or save. If it doesn't look much bigger than the original, try maximizing the window, or hold your cursor over it and a "+" sign should display, just click to enlarge. Or else it was a lower resolution scan to begin with). By clicking on the arrows in the upper right hand corner, you can move from pic to pic without returning to the thumbnail gallery in between. To return to the thumbnail gallery, click on the center "up" arrow.

Dan's Photos - A bunch of pictures Dan sent me. From the Forties to the Eighties. All from New Hampshire
Brian's Photos - Some pictures from my Personal Collection. Most from New Hampshire, some on Long Island, and even some down in Florida, all through the years.
Blayde’s Photos – While I'm waiting for Blayde to scan me in some of his favorite pics from the past, I went through all the ones he’s emailed me over the years and picked out a few of my favorites. Blayde’s great for sending photos just as a natural act. Especially ones of Chloe. No shortage there. The proud Grandpa.
Debbie's Photos - One of the funnest things about this project is re-connecting with the friends and relatives from my past. The other is connecting with their kids. Debbie fits into both categories. What a blast to get an email from her, catching me up on her life, and opening a window into the world of Suzie. Debbie is FORTY now – Yikes! Double Yikes!! Maybe even triple Yikes!!! And one of the first things she said was, “I remember the cabin as if it were yesterday, ah back in the day …” Even our kids are nostalgic about it! Debbie holds a special place in the family hierarchy, as she was the first child born to any of the Twelve, and at a time when we were all living close enough together that we still saw each other a lot. We were there for her toddler and kid years. Kenny, too. Those two, I'm sad to say, are the only ones of my cousins' kids I really got to know. Although only as little kids. And Troy and Tracy a little bit, but they were still very young when I moved away. Debbie sent me a link to her My Space page, which is chock full of photographs. I mean hundreds. Most of the faces are strangers to me, but mixed in among the photos of her friends, children, sisters, nieces and nephews, are tons of Suzie and Tommy as they are today, and quite a few of Aunt Mel, Aunt Lisa, and Uncle Kerry. And don't forget Grandma (Aunt Dot). And of course, one or two of the Cabin. I've downloaded a few to put up here, but I recommend you all go check out her page yourselves.
Judy's Photos - These are actually meant for Janice's page ("Over The Next Hill - A Tribute To Janice" - yet to be completed), and "The Origin of The Twelve" page, but until I have time to actually create those pages, I whipped up this small gallery to share them with everyone. Thanks again Jude, for sending me them.
Blayde's Photos 2 & 3 - A mix of photos Blayde sent, all through the years, from NH to AZ.
Rich's Photos - Man, they're crawling out of the woodwork. Danny told his friend Rich Caiado about the site, and he sent me some photos, along with some great captions, plus a few other funny lines. The Cabin sure left its mark on many people. Here's how his email started, " ... reading your writings and pix of the GREAT DERRYHILL EXPERIENCE brought back a lot of memories. I think of that mystical cabin very much. Those experiences we all shared there became the building blocks of who we are today, friendships ... good clean fun ... guns, and our sense of adventure". And here's how his email ended, " ... hey, I remember those short trips to the outhouse you loved to take. What was the record?? 3 hours?", hmmph, wise guy, eh? As I responded in my email back, I never spent more than 2 1/2 hours at a sitting (although I might have used a slightly different word. What's an "h" among friends?). I hope you don't mind me quoting your email, Rich. Some of the pictures came without commentary, so I just added my own.
Blayde CE (Current Era) - These are all photos of Blayde and family (Sally, Cindy Jo, Lindsey, Chloe, etc.) down in Arizona. All taken within the last few years.
Historic NH Photos - These are photos Blayde sent me out of an old photo album my mom gave him. They are all from up at the Cabin during 1954 - 1956. Makes me want to go back to that time and place ... and I wasn't even born yet!
Old Album Photos - Blayde sent me some scans of a bunch of old photo album pages that he got from my mother. I think she must have gotten them from Granny, because they are of the first born few of all three of her kids, plus Grandma Miller (her mother, right?). They are all from the early fifties - Blayde's christening, Judy's christening, Grandma Miller's 78th Birthday. old Thanksgiving dinners, and other family stuff. I love reading the old newspaper clippings for details about various family connections/lineage. I've cropped out all the individual photos from all the pages for this gallery. I've also created one large zip file that has all the cropped photos, plus the scans of the original pages so you can see them in context. It is a very large file (44 megs), but with high speed it should only take 5 or 10 minutes to download. Just unzip it once you get it to your desktop (right-click on it, and choose "expand here" or something like that). Click here to download it.
Old Photos - Most of these are from Blayde, with a few from Dan and Jamie thrown in. All are early photos from the 40's and 50's, some even earlier. I made a .zip file of the originals for these too (the originals are higher resolution). This one's a lot smaller, about 6 megs. Click here to download it (choose "Save" or "Save To Disk").
Blayde's Photos 4 - A bit of a misnomer, since Blayde also supplied the photos for the Historic NH Photos, Old Album Photos, and Old Photos galleries. So this should really be labeled Blayde's Photos 7 or something. But the others were "theme" galleries that I winnowed out of all the scans he sent me on two CD's. This is the last batch of single photos scans. They are a mix of eras and locations, all throughout his life (and maybe before it). I'm down to one last batch that are all scans of album photos but which aren't old/historic shots, just more of ones throughout our childhoods/lifetimes, similar to these shots.
Jim's Photos - These are some pictures from Jim. Actually, Jamie picked them out. And Danny scanned them and emailed them to me. See - it takes a Family to raise a website. Lots of New Hampshire through the years, some up in Olivebridge, and maybe some other places, too.
Judy's Photos 2 - Some more photos from Judy. She captioned most of them, and I added to whichever ones weren't.
Troy's Photos - Some photos from Troy. I'll let him explain them in his own words, "Here are some pictures of my son, Sawyer Cray Cyphers from a trip we took to Florida in April to visit Nicky soon after her stroke. She seemed surprisingly normal, almost as if it hadn't occurred. The little guy definitely lifted her spirits. Rick was also down so there are photos of him, my Mom, my dad and his sister Cathy in NY, Stephanie, and of course me!! Hope you can post some of them to the site.....Thanks!!" - TC
